Leev group started 1386 with these goals:

• Supporting the decenteralizing policy in theatre
• Discovering new performance venues excluding the Center for Performing Arts in Tehran and provinces
• Continuing theatrical productions during the year in spite of a lack of cooperation from the Center for Performing Arts
• Repetoire execution (continuing the performances through time)
• Emphasis on education and producing works from the heart of educational programs
• Doing activities to achieve private theatre in the coming years

The group did the following activities to reach its goals:

• The production of two works for Women’s Festival
• Cooperating with the faculty of cinema-theatre for production
• Applying to participate in the Fajr Festival with two main performances of the group
• Television recording of one of the past productions of the group
• Holding a workshop for intra-group education

Which are as follows:

Two works of the group presented in Women’s Festival early this year were: “Mede Saint Medar”(as one of the main works of the group) and “at the big wall of the city”.

In addition, in this festival other activities such as holding workshops for actors and preparing and translating texts for the bulletin of festival were done.

However, the project could not be completed due to the lack of cooperation from the municipality for performing the two works in the Culture Houses of the city.

The “Mid-summer night dream”, which was a cooperative work between leev group and the faculty of cinema-theatre, had 5 performances during winter in the above faculty and participated in the “Professors’ Section” of the University Members’ Festival in the new year.

Another production of the group was “Cherry Garden”, which was produced in 1386, but was not accepted for the main Fajr Festival. The piece “outside behind the door” did not take part in the festival because of the problems that occurred during the rehearsals.

The group also had a television recording of “the bear and proposal”, which was one of the productions of the group during the last 3 years and was the only production with financial output.

The educational section of the group executed a workshop on “intra-group drammateurging” by Mr Mansur Barahimi in order to educate its members.
